Got to shoot again with Paige Davis from Trading Spaces last week. I hate to gush, but this gal is the best I have ever worked with.

Many thanks to the folks from RC Willey, Paige & her crew (Justin and Randal) and the people from Love as well. Of course my stylist and producer Kimberly pulled off some last minute miracles as usual.

Ride for a Hero motorcycle rally & fundraiser!

Last week was the Ride For a Hero motorcycle rally for The Utah Meth Cops Project held at Timpanogos Harley Davidson in Lyndon, Utah.

As part of the fund raising activities I shot black and white portraits of some of the participants.

I really like these photos!

University Health Care Outdoor Board

United Way production crew

The top image is of our lovely makeup artist Dawn. She did so many faces for our United Way production that she deserves a medal. Kimberly is my studio producer and regularly flexes her muscles around here to keep things rolling smoothly.

As usual, the folks from Love were very organized and a kick in the pants to work with.

Sisters

One of my good friends approached me about making a photo to hang in her bedroom.

She and her husband wanted something sensual, but abstract and conservative enough so that it wouldn't make their kids feel uncomfortable.

She described what she wanted and said she had saved a photo out of a magazine that she really liked.

I asked her to PLEASE NOT show it to me because I much preferred to shoot something that would be my own creation. Even as she described what she was looking for I knew that I had already shot several projects with a similar lighting style back in 1986 or 87.

When her sister heard about our up coming photo session, she didn't want to be left out and asked if I would please make a photo for her as well.

They both turned out nice.

The folks at Love Communications had us travel down to Las Vegas to photograph Paige Davis for RC Willey.

Paige is the Host for the Trading Spaces television show. Let me tell you, this girl has some energy and knows how to work in front of a camera. What a pro.

Blast From the Past

As we were finishing up this shoot we all laughed and laughed every time the new images showed up on the monitor. I swear this woman looks just like my mother did when I was a kid.

Scott Eggers from Egger's Design is the man behind the concept on this. He wanted our model to look like she came right out of the "June Cleaver" era.

Kathy Eckenbrecht was our stylist and she really deserves the lion's share of the credit for making this look so great.

Roma Sorenson was our talent, she did a terrific job as well.
